Golf-Sud : Un boulanger arrêté par la police avec 26 pierres de crack
The Golf-Sud district police station arrested baker A. Faye in possession of 26 crack rocks this Friday around 5:45 a.m., according to Seneweb sources.
Acting on information regarding cocaine trafficking near the Golf pharmacy, officers from the criminal investigation unit set up a stakeout after receiving a physical description of the suspect, monitoring his every move. Before he could be apprehended, the suspect attempted to discard the drugs, which were wrapped in aluminum foil and placed in a white bag. The police recovered them.
Pending authentication of the product by the National Drug Laboratory, the drugs were seized and the suspect was taken into custody for possession and trafficking of crack cocaine. The prosecutor of Pikine-Guédiawaye, Saliou Dicko, was informed of the facts and the investigation is ongoing.
