Golf-Sud : Un homme interpellé pour tentative de viol sur une déficiente mentale dans un bâtiment en plein ramadan
The elements of the research brigade of the Golf-Sud district police station arrested, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, around 7:30 p.m., DC, 50 years old, an employee in a well-known local company and residing in the SHS housing estate, for attempted rape of a mentally disabled woman.
It all started with a phone call from a witness who alerted the police station that an individual was attempting to abuse a mentally disabled woman in the SHS housing complex. The witness saw DC leading the victim toward an isolated building. He followed them and caught him just as he was about to commit the act. Law enforcement officers arrested him.
According to Seneweb sources, DC confessed to the charges against him when questioned by investigators. He was taken into custody for attempted rape of a mentally disabled woman. The victim, who was not at the scene at the time of the police intervention, is actively being sought.
Prosecutor Saliou Dicko has been informed of the facts and an investigation has been opened.
