Grand Dakar : dénoncé par son ex-femme, il est arrêté après avoir convoyé ses enfants au Congo avec de faux documents

Police officers from the Grand Dakar district station arrested two individuals on Thursday, February 19, 2026, around 3:00 PM, as part of an ongoing anti-crime operation. They are identified as OC, 43 years old, unemployed, residing in Grand Dakar, and ASCA, 48 years old, a business developer, residing in Yoff Virage, according to Seneweb sources.

Their arrest followed a complaint filed with the Dakar prosecutor's office by a woman named DL. According to the complainant, her ex-husband, ASCA, never went to register their children with the civil registry. He always delegated this task to his friend, OC, who in turn provided him with fictitious birth certificates. It was with these forged documents that AS

CA allegedly smuggled her minor children out of Senegal and into Congo. The plaintiff also accuses her ex-husband of obtaining three fake Senegalese national identity cards.

The investigation confirmed that the birth certificates made for the children were indeed fake, as evidenced by the certificates of non-existence of the birth certificates issued by the civil registrar of the main civil registry center of the municipality of Thiaroye-sur-Mer.

When questioned, OC partially admitted to the facts. The search of his room led to the seizure of an arsenal of forged documents: ten birth certificates, one of which was blank, two blank parental authorizations, a marriage certificate, a death certificate, three literal copies of birth certificates, fifteen copies of national identity cards, two passport copies, five criminal record extracts, as well as several certificates and stamps of a company called Holding ASCA.

For its part, ASCA claims it was unaware that the documents it received were false, while admitting to having taken the underage children to Congo. Its home is to be searched soon.

The two suspects were taken into custody for complicity in forgery and use of forged administrative documents. The public prosecutor has been notified and an investigation is underway.

Mes pensées vont vers la maman. Que ca doit être cruel pour une mère de se voir arracher ses enfants et de ne plus avoir de nouvelles d’eux. Qu’Allah l’assiste dans cette épreuve.
