Grand-Yoff : Deux agresseurs arrêtés après l’attaque violente d’un passant
On Monday, November 17, around 9:00 a.m., officers from the Grand-Yoff district police station arrested Mr. Sarr, born in 2007 and claiming to be a mechanic. The suspect was apprehended near the Patte d'Oie black market in possession of an iPhone 11. When asked to unlock the phone, he was unable to do so, stating that he had bought it the previous day from someone he had met by chance.
Taken to the police station, investigators used emergency calls from the phone to identify its true owner, KA Samb. He explained that he had left Patte d'Oie on November 16, 2025, around 8 p.m., to walk to Ouest-Foire.
Upon reaching the Léopold Sédar Senghor stadium, he was allegedly violently attacked by two individuals, one of whom was formally identified during a suspect presentation: Mr. Sarr. The assailants reportedly inflicted scratches before fleeing with his locked iPhone 11 and his National Identity Card, according to Seneweb sources.
Mr. Sarr eventually admitted his involvement in the attack and revealed the identity of his accomplice.
The latter, A. Kouyaté, born in 2002 and also claiming to be a mechanic, was arrested in the Grand-Yoff housing project. When questioned by investigators, he too confessed to the crimes.
The two suspects were taken into custody for conspiracy and armed robbery committed at night.
The investigation is continuing in order to finalize the procedure and determine if the two accused are involved in other assaults.

Vous êtes jeunes et avez la vie devant vous et avoir tous les biens matériels possibles à la sueur de votre front.
Où sont leurs parents ? Moi je vois une faillite généralisée de l’éducation des jeunes. La relève n’est pas assurée et ce pays ne sera pas développé si elle compte sur la génération à venir.
Il y a tellement à faire que nos dirigeants ne devraient même pas avoir le temps de faire un discours.
Donc tous les sénégalais délinquants vivant illégament hors de notre pays doivent être expulsés militari , ça serait un bienfait que cette racaille reste au SN.
