The foundation of Tottenham's Senegalese international, Pape Matar Sarr, has donated a large amount of food and supplies to the city of Thiès to support the victims of the recent floods. The donation includes rice, oil drums, mattresses, and cement for families hit hard by the torrential rains.

In presenting the materials, Pape Matar Sarr thanked the mayor, Dr. Babacar Diop, for his warm welcome. "I only did my duty by offering this material to the victims. Several families were affected by the floods."

"I felt it was necessary to provide support to these deprived households. I am a true Thiessois and proud of it," he continued. He also assured that his foundation remains open not only to Thiès, but also to the entire national territory, with the ambition of extending its support to populations in need.

In the process, the Senegalese international congratulated ASC Wallidaan, his training club, winner of the national phases of the 2025 navétanes, while reaffirming his willingness to support the young generation of footballers.

For his part, the mayor of Thiès expressed his gratitude to the player. "I would like to thank him for this wonderful show of solidarity. He came to show his support for the people affected by the floods, which proves that he is a kind-hearted man.
