« Je ne sais pas ce qui m’est arrivé » : la confession glaçante de l'homme qui a tué sa femme
H. Seck, on the run for four years after killing his wife F. Dia, was arrested upon his return to his native village of Kaba in April 2024.
The Observer, who attended the hearing, recalls that the femicide dates back to 2019, when the husband strangled his wife following an argument, according to his own confession. Tried on August 1st before the criminal chamber of Tambacounda, he admitted the facts, specifying that they had had sexual intercourse before the argument, without being able to explain his actions.
The prosecutor requested life imprisonment, considering that there was intent to kill and a lack of remorse. Ultimately, the defendant was sentenced to 20 years in prison, concludes L'Observateur.
