Kaolack : Visite du directeur général de la Sonatel en prélude au Gamou

As a prelude to the Gamou celebration, Sonatel CEO Brelot Ba visited the Kaolack region. He successively visited Léona Niassène and Médina Baye. Mr. Ba explained that this tour was part of the technical preparations for the religious event. "This visit is part of the Gamou celebration. The objective remains the same: to verify all operations to prepare the network."

According to him, these events attract a lot of people and it is important to anticipate, following the request made by the authorities during the regional development committee dedicated to Gamou, to ensure the reliability of the network in order to allow communications and Internet connection for customers, the organizing committee and all those who work in the broad sense for these religious events.

The general manager assured that "the modernization and expansion of the network allows us to carry out these events without any problems."

Beyond the technical aspect, the visit was also an opportunity to implement social actions. "We took advantage of these outings to implement a number of action plans, as part of our corporate social responsibility policy. The administrator of the Sonatel Foundation is with us; she will be donating medicines to health facilities in the Kaolack region. As part of Orange Money's activities, we are also making donations, and in partnership with Kirène, we are ensuring the distribution of water to support the organizers and pilgrims in the best possible conditions," said Mr. Ba.

Finally, the CEO of Sonatel was keen to emphasize the spiritual dimension of his presence: "Beyond the technical and social visits, we came to ask for prayers for Sonatel and for the country."
