Keur Massar : De 5 000 F CFA par semaine à une villa et une BMW, le butin du cambrioleur de Mor Talla Fall dévoilé
Investigators from the Grand-Yoff district police station took a significant step forward yesterday, Saturday, in the burglary case targeting shopkeeper Mor Talla Fall. Following the arrest of S. Nianghane, alias "Ben," and his girlfriend, B. Ly, police officers, in coordination with the prosecutor's office, raided the suspect's main residence in Keur Massar. The raid resulted in the seizure of substantial property in a two-story house that was still under construction. According to Seneweb sources, investigators confiscated a BMW registered in the suspect's name, a new five-seater beige living room set, a dining table with five chairs, a large refrigerator-freezer, and two new 65-inch flat-screen televisions.
A lifestyle incompatible with declared income
These seizures were ordered by the public prosecutor after S. Nianghane proved unable to explain the origin of his wealth. According to the investigation, the suspect works as a simple employee in a shop in the Medina district, where he earns between 5,000 and 10,000 CFA francs per week, depending on sales volume. This income is far from sufficient to account for the acquisition of the seized assets and the construction of a two-story house.
A suspect identified in several burglaries
Investigations have established that S. Nianghane appears in several surveillance videos of businesses and financial establishments burglarized in the housing projects, the city center, and Rebeuss. In these images, he can be seen operating with a precise modus operandi: face concealed by a balaclava, hands protected by gloves, headlamp, and use of a crowbar to force open safes.
