Kush et Tramadol : un important stock saisi, trois suspects interpellés
The Kédougou Research and Surveillance Brigade (BRS) dismantled a network trafficking synthetic drugs and diverted medications. According to L'Observateur, the operation was carried out at dawn last Wednesday, based on precise intelligence. It targeted three Malian nationals residing in the border village of Ségoto, identified as key players in this illicit trade. They are A. Cissokho (28 years old), D. Diallo (25 years old), and M. Touré (32 years old), the newspaper reports.
The same source indicates that searches carried out at their homes, used as sales points, resulted in the seizure of a large stock of narcotics, consisting of 566 Tramadol tablets - an opioid diverted from its medical use - and 451 packets of Kush, a synthetic drug with particularly harmful effects.
The three suspects, placed in police custody, are being prosecuted for possession and trafficking of psychotropic substances, illegal sale of medications, and illegally practicing as pharmacists. Investigators are continuing their inquiries to trace the network, reports the newspaper of the Groupe Futurs Médias.
