Linguère : Un berger tué à coups de machette par son camarade à Samaly
A tragedy occurred yesterday, Sunday, in the village of Samaly, in the commune of Barkedji, in the department of Linguère. A shepherd named Seydou Amet Deh, aged around twenty, was killed with a machete by his comrade Samba Sow.
According to a source close to the case, the two shepherds met around a backwater around 4 p.m. A few minutes later, an argument broke out between them. After an exchange of bitter words, they clashed with machetes. Samba Sow disemboweled Seydou Amet Deh before fleeing. The alleged murderer went into hiding in the Vélingara Ferlo forest (Ranérou department). His escape would be short-lived, as he was arrested the same day and taken into custody at the Linguère gendarmerie.
The victim's body was taken to the morgue of Magatte Lo Hospital in Linguère by the firefighters.
