Aliment de bétail : Le Ministère du Commerce fixe les prix plafond et met en garde les contrevenants
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued a decree setting maximum prices for livestock feed (50 kg bags). Livestock farmers, who have been protesting the soaring prices of animal feed in the lead-up to the Tabaski celebration, welcome the measure and express their relief.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of Law No. 2021-25 of April 12, 2021, on prices and consumer protection, the prices of livestock feed are set as follows in the Dakar region: ex-factory 8,500 FCFA; wholesale 9,000 FCFA; retail 9,500 FCFA. In other regions of the country, the prices set by the aforementioned decree are increased by a transport surcharge determined by the Regional Consumer Council.
Merchants are required to display the prices thus set in a visible and legible manner, by any appropriate means, including marking, labeling, and posting. Minister Serigne Guèye Diop reminds the public that violations of the provisions of this decree are punishable by the sanctions provided for by the laws and regulations in force. The Director of Domestic Trade is responsible for the implementation of this decree, which will be registered and disseminated wherever necessary.

N'essaye surtout pas de nous-en priver.
Ce fut une question de secheresse. Et depuis, il a bien plu et le betail s'est regeneré.
