Louga : Lancement du Programme national de mise en place et de distribution de moto-taxis
The city of Louga hosted the launch ceremony of the National Program for the Implementation and Distribution of Motorcycle Taxis this Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Bouna Ndiaye Square. In total, around ten motorcycle taxis and tricycles will be distributed to young people in the capital of Ndiambour through a credit system. This youth support and financing project, led by Daara Essentiels, collaborates with financial institutions and a lessor who supports young people in the acquisition of a motorcycle taxi through a credit system.
The beneficiary repays this loan through their daily work and, once the repayment is complete, becomes the owner of their motorcycle taxi. An initiative welcomed by the deputy mayor of Louga, who believes that this project has come at the right time. "We praise this project, which will certainly help young people find employment and turn their backs on illegal immigration," said Pape Massar Diop. The president of the Louga drivers' association, Ousmane Ndiaye, is calling on young people in Louga to join this project en masse, which, according to him, represents a real opportunity for job creation.
However, he urges them to be careful on the roads to avoid accidents if they acquire these work tools. The young people who came in large numbers to the Bouna Ndiaye public square committed to working with the Daara Essentiels project to acquire motorcycle taxis and tricycles in order to be able to enter the world of work. The Daara Essentiels project, led by Cheikh Lam, aims to bring together all motorcycle taxis in Senegal within a national federation.

Faites en sorte que les jeunes qui ont un métier puissent acquérir à crédit des outils de dernières générations qui leur permettront d'améliorer leur production et rendement, les tailleurs,tapissiers,mécano,bottiers horticulteurs,meuniers,charretiers etc.. j'en passe.Le secteur informel est sous-équipé.

Ce projet n'a rien a voir avec la politique car c'est un homme d'affaires Sénégalais bon teint appeler Cheikh Lam qui a voulais faire quelque chose pour son pays mais surtout la jeunesse donc il a initier le projet pour permettre à tous jeune qui le désire d'avoir un travail décent raison pour dans le même projet il a mis trois volets essentielle dans une vie active de toutes La santé.La nutrition et l'activité génératrice de revenue pour permettre au bénéficiaire d'avoir l'esprit tranquille donc a mon humble avis si d'autres sénégalais comme lui faisait la même chose le chômage endémique aller être rayer dans ce pays
