Louga : 2 présumés homosexuels rejoignent Ndiaga Seck en prison
Brought before the Louga High Court on Tuesday, Mr. Ndiaye, 51, a public procurement consultant, and footballer D. Top were remanded in custody by the investigating judge on charges of unnatural acts and other offenses. They join politician Ndiaga Seck at the central prison in the Diambour region's capital, according to Seneweb sources.
The test results for the two suspected homosexuals came back negative. The suspects reportedly confessed to the acts during questioning.
As a reminder, by executing a judicial delegation issued by the investigating judge of the Louga High Court, the urban police station of Linguère had proceeded, last Friday, to arrest these two people heavily involved in the network of alleged homosexuals dismantled in Djolof.
Both residents of Linguère, they were named by the alleged HIV-positive homosexual, Mr. Guèye, alias "Tigi," as one of his sexual partners. Guèye is among the 22 suspected homosexuals brought before the Linguère police since April 22, 2026, and subsequently detained by the investigating magistrate on charges of criminal conspiracy, endangering others, unnatural acts, inciting debauchery, and intentionally transmitting HIV/AIDS.
Meanwhile, a 23rd suspect, politician Ndiaga Seck, was arrested and sent to Louga prison.
In total, the Linguère police station has made 25 arrests, including these two new arrests last Friday. Further arrests are expected in the coming days.
