MAGAL: TOUSSAINT MANGA SOLLICITE LES PRIÈRES DE SERIGNE MOUNTAKHA POUR DIOMAYE ET SONKO
Toussaint Manga, Director General of the Senegalese National Lottery (LONASE), paid a courtesy visit to Touba ahead of the Grand Magal. Accompanied by his delegation, he was received successively by Serigne Mountakha Mbacké in Darou Minam, then by spokesperson Serigne Bass Abdou Khadr.
Prayers requested for the Diomaye-Sonko tandem
During his audience with the General Khalifa, the head of LONASE expressed the reasons for his approach: "It is with great pleasure that I come to Touba to receive the prayers of the venerated General Khalifa of the Mourides. I request your prayers for the President of the Republic His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye and his Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko for their success in the mission entrusted to them by the Senegalese people."
Serigne Mountakha Mbacké offered prayers for the delegation while praising Toussaint Manga's consistency: "I pray for you and your entire delegation. Last year, when you had just been appointed head of LONASE, you made a point of coming to Touba. This is a great mark of consideration towards our community."
The Caliph's spokesman, Serigne Bass Abdou Khadre, expressed similar sentiments towards the Director General and his delegation.
