Malika : elle se sert de son bébé de deux mois pour cacher la drogue
A Senegalese man and eight Sierra Leoneans were arrested by Malika police and brought before the prosecutor in Pikine/Guédiawaye. The nine individuals are being prosecuted for possession, use, and trafficking of narcotics (kush, ecstasy pills, and other psychotropic tablets). According to Libération, which broke the story, one of the suspects, Rouguiyatou C., born in Sierra Leone, used her child to try to hide the drugs when the police raided the apartment where the arrests took place.
"She had tried to hide some psychotropic pills and three small envelopes containing kush in the sanitary diaper of her two-month-old baby," the daily newspaper details.
The apartment of the suspected drug dealers was thoroughly searched. According to the newspaper, this allowed police to "find a batch of 108 pills believed to be ecstasy, 15 tablets of unidentified pills that they were selling individually and which were hidden in various corners of the apartment. Six small envelopes containing kush were found in the possession of a man named Cheikhou C. Packaging materials such as a pair of scissors and plastic bags were also found in the same room."
