Mariage, visas et cartes SIM allemandes : le scénario machiavélique de la dame F. Fédior pour dépouiller son époux
A meeting on TikTok, a promise of German visas, a traditional marriage, and carefully collected German phone numbers to maintain the illusion. Ms. F. Fédior allegedly orchestrated everything to swindle money from her husband and sister-in-law. Her scheme ended with her arrest by the Saly Research Brigade (BR). She was brought before a judge yesterday, Thursday, on charges of fraud and breach of trust, according to Seneweb sources.
It all started with a TikTok post. Mr. Mbaye, who, like his younger sister NM Mbaye, dreams of going to Europe, came across a post mentioning visa bookings for Germany. This is how he got in touch with Ms. F. Fédior. She presented herself as a Senegalese woman who had been living in Germany for several years, perfectly integrated, and well-positioned to help make this travel project a reality.
A marriage to better ensnare the prey
The relationship quickly blossomed into romance. F. Fédior and M. Mbaye began a love affair that culminated in a traditional marriage. Now settled in the area, the woman understood the aspirations of her husband and sister-in-law. She then offered them family reunification, which included visas for Germany. The offer came at the perfect time. The man and his sister believed they had found their soulmate.
To bolster her credibility and maintain the illusion of living in Germany, F. Fédior obtained several German SIM cards with +49 numbers, which she used to communicate exclusively via WhatsApp. The German prefixes further convinced her victims that they were indeed dealing with someone living in Germany.
Four million for visas, one million for a plot of land
Convinced, Mr. Mbaye complied. At his sweetheart's request, he gradually paid sums reaching four million CFA francs, presented as visa fees. For her part, NM Mbaye, who also believed she had seized a golden opportunity, agreed to purchase a plot of land in Malicounda that F. Fédior had allegedly offered her for one million CFA francs. To facilitate the transaction and reassure the buyer, the accused allegedly provided her with a forged administrative document from the Malicounda municipality, which she herself admitted to having falsified.
In total, five million CFA francs were extorted from the two victims.
The escape to Mbour and the end of the manhunt
Once the funds were received, F. Fédior left Dakar and went into hiding in Mbour, according to Seneweb sources close to the prosecutor's office. But his escape was short-lived. The Saly Research Brigade, under the Mbour gendarmerie company, opened an investigation that led to the rapid location and arrest of the suspect.
The investigation unequivocally established that F. Fédior had entered into this customary marriage solely to defraud her husband and sister-in-law. The German phone numbers, the false expatriate identity, the promises of visas, and the falsified administrative document formed a meticulously orchestrated scheme to deceive her victims.
Charged with fraud and breach of trust
At the end of the investigation, F. Fédior was brought before the prosecutor's office yesterday Thursday morning by the Saly Research Brigade for fraud and breach of trust to the detriment of her husband M. Mbaye and her sister-in-law NM Mbaye.
