Maristes : le gardien trahi par les « taches marron » découverts sur le slip de la fillette de 9 ans
On trial before the Criminal Court, DS Ndong, a 40-year-old building caretaker, faces a sentence of 10 years' imprisonment, in accordance with the prosecution's request. He is accused of sexual acts against F. Guèye, who was 9 years old at the time of the alleged offenses in 2022.
The case broke out at the Maristes when the victim's mother, NS Kébé, discovered suspicious brown stains on her daughter's underwear while doing laundry, reports L'Observateur.
The newspaper, part of the Future Media Group, reports that the girl, pressed with questions, eventually identified the suspect, the caretaker of the building next to her grandmother's. F. Guèye gave a consistent and detailed account of her ordeal, explaining that the man would isolate her in her room for repeated inappropriate touching when she spent weekends at her grandmother's house.
While the gynecological examination revealed an intact hymen, the medical findings indicated a "soiled and erythematous vulva (infection)." According to the prosecutor, these signs of chronic irritation are perfectly consistent with the "friction" described by the victim.
In court, the accused denied all the charges. Married and a father, he cried foul, claiming a "conspiracy" orchestrated by the girl's family, citing an old neighborhood dispute. However, his silence was deemed troubling when he was questioned about the surgical precision with which the child described the inside of her room.
The prosecutor argued that the detailed description of the defendant's room and the medical findings refuted the conspiracy theory, noting that even without penetration, sexual assault of a minor is severely punished. The defense, for its part, pleaded for acquittal, pointing to the lack of physical evidence and biological analyses.
The verdict will be delivered on February 10, the same source reports.

Dans plein de pays, les maisons, villas n'ont même pas de murs et les portes d'entrée sont visibles et accessibles à tous et pourtant personne ne pensent à aller voler chez le voisin ou c'est très rare de le voir. Alors qu'au Sénégal et en particulier à Dakar c'est devenu très risqué d'avoir une maison ou une villa "à découvert" sans murs aux alentours.
