Mbacké : L’adjoint au maire Serigne Saliou Bousso alloue ses indemnités au profit des Daaras
In a gesture of community solidarity, Serigne Saliou Bousso, recently installed in his position as Deputy Mayor of the Commune of Mbacké, has decided to dedicate a significant portion of his official emoluments to supporting local religious education.

This initiative, driven by the desire to improve the living and learning conditions of the talibés (students), translates into a monthly financial commitment of 100,000 FCFA. On an annual basis, this amounts to 1,200,000 FCFA raised for the benefit of the Cheikh Ahmadou Khadim Complex in Mbacké. According to the figures provided, a total of 1,273,000 FCFA has already been disbursed in the space of five months.
Keen to balance his social impact, the elected official also allocated the other half of his allowances to the Daara Sokhna Mame Diarra Bousso in Bangathie. This approach aims to support several religious education centers within and around the municipality.
Material support for children
Beyond the financial aspect, this commitment manifested itself materially as early as September 2025. A batch of 313 desks, with a total value of 1,072,000 FCFA, was made available to the children of the Cheikh Ahmadou Khadim Complex in Mbacké in order to enhance their study comfort.
Through these concrete actions, Serigne Saliou Bousso intends to place his mandate under the banner of responsibility and service to the community. The deputy mayor expressed his gratitude to all those who support these initiatives dedicated to religious education and the well-being of children.
