Mbour : Un nouveau-né découvert dans un sachet en plastique derrière le tribunal
Construction workers behind the Mbour courthouse made a gruesome discovery. The lifeless body of a newborn boy, carefully wrapped in a plastic bag, was found in a house under construction.
It was a worker transporting bricks who spotted the tightly tied bag. Thinking it was garbage, he nevertheless decided to check its contents. To his shock, he discovered the body of an infant. The worker immediately alerted his colleagues.
Upon being notified, firefighters and officers from the Mbour central police station went to the scene. After the standard procedures were completed, the baby's body was taken to the morgue at the Thierno Mouhamadoul Mansour Barro Hospital in Mbour.
