Médina-Colobane : deux Guinéens arrêtés avec du Kush et du chanvre indien par la police
The Medina district police station, under the command of Commissioner Lat Dior Sall, arrested two Guinean nationals for possession and trafficking of narcotics. The two suspects were found in possession of kush and Indian hemp in the Medina and Colobane neighborhoods.
Based on intelligence indicating structured drug trafficking networks operating on Rue 25 in the Medina and in Colobane, the police officers took action and made two separate arrests.
The first suspect, A. Barry, 22, born in Conakry and residing on 25th Street in the Medina district, was apprehended in the Garabgui area with four packets of Kush in his possession. The second, B. Diallo, 23, also from Conakry and a mechanic by trade, was arrested in Colobane with sixteen packets of Indian hemp hidden under his mattress.
He admitted to the facts and stated that he had acquired the drugs from a man named Khadji. The 13,000 FCFA found on him was believed to have come from the sale of these drugs.
The two suspects have been taken into custody. The public prosecutor's office has been informed and the investigation is continuing to dismantle the entire network, particularly to identify the mysterious supplier.
