Actor Moda Thioune, better known as Khalil Thiam in the series Baabel, has reacted after his name and image were linked on TikTok to rumors circulating about the case of Pape Cheikh Diallo, Djiby Dramé, and others arrested and charged with conspiracy, unnatural acts involving the intentional transmission of HIV/AIDS through unprotected sex, and endangering the lives of others. In a post on Snapchat, he issued a firm statement clarifying the situation.
According to his statements, "far from wanting to justify himself, this sensitive controversy does not concern him." He considers the situation serious and dangerous, especially since it has had direct consequences for his family.
"My mother almost had a stroke earlier," wrote Moda Thioune.
He also denounced the fact that some people are taking advantage of these rumors to settle scores, often using fake accounts to sow confusion and damage his reputation.
