Mutations : une nouvelle plateforme citoyenne veut miser sur l’intelligence collective
A new citizens' organization has entered the Senegalese associative landscape. Called MUTATIONS, this platform presents itself as an independent space for reflection, co-creation, and action, designed to support the transformations taking place in Senegal.

In a public statement, the organizers announced that the inaugural General Assembly of the association will be held on June 6 in Dakar. This meeting will notably include the adoption of the statutes and internal regulations, as well as the establishment of the movement's governing bodies.
According to its promoters, MUTATIONS aims to mobilize "collective intelligence" to generate knowledge, develop proposals, and support citizen initiatives for the benefit of communities. The platform thus aspires to create a framework for participation open to citizens wishing to contribute to discussions on major national issues.
The association bases its actions on five principles: Dignity and Justice, Knowledge and Action, Participatory Democracy, Change and Evolution, and Innovation and Efficiency. It states its aim is to promote a constructive, independent, and results-oriented citizen dynamic.
To achieve its objectives, MUTATIONS plans to rely on thematic knowledge circles, a territorial structure covering Senegal and the diaspora, and regular citizen action. Through this initiative, the founding members hope to contribute to strengthening civic engagement and the emergence of collective solutions to the country's economic, social, and institutional challenges.
