Ndiok : Un quinquagénaire interpellé pour détention de chanvre indien et exercice illégal de la pharmacie
A 59-year-old man, identified by the initials MTS, was arrested at his home in the village of Ndiok located in the commune of Diamagadio, in the department of Kaffrine, by members of the Kaffrine regional narcotics brigade.
During the search, the police discovered five packages of Indian hemp, each weighing 400g, as well as 18 small packets and loose hemp. In total, 1.6 kg of the drug was seized on the premises.
The police also found four boxes of tablets, which led to him being charged with illegally practicing pharmacy, in addition to drug possession.
The suspect was brought before the prosecutor's office this morning.
