A routine inspection that goes wrong
Hygiene officer A. Cissé, serving in the Dakar hygiene sub-brigade, was injured by the accused during an inspection operation.
When questioned by investigators, the hygiene service agent stated that he had been the victim of violence by the accused during a food inspection operation in the municipality of Biscuiterie and in Ouagou Niayes 2.
According to the victim, the suspect, furious at being summoned to the headquarters of the hygiene brigade for lack of a medical certificate, made offensive remarks towards the hygiene service agents.
He then struck her violently in the face, causing an injury below her left eye, as evidenced by the medical certificate of temporary incapacity for work of four days attached to the proceedings.
Confession and plea for clemency
Under questioning, the accused admitted the facts without hesitation and asked for leniency from the justice system.
He was taken into custody for the aforementioned offenses. The Public Prosecutor's Office has been informed of the case.
