Paix en Casamance : "Avec la présence des kountiyou à Koulaye, tous doivent avoir l'esprit tranquille que la paix va revenir" (Porte-parole du khalife général des khadre)
During a visit to the village of Koulaye, in the department of Bignona, Cheikhal Khalifa Ababacar Kounta, spokesperson for the general khalifa of the Khadres, Cheikh Bou Sidy Moctar Kounta, accompanied by a large delegation, laid the first stone for the reconstruction of the mosque erected in this locality by the Khadres.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, he reiterated the Khadre brotherhood's responsibility in the Casamance peace process. "For years, the people have been in turmoil. During his economic tour, the President of the Republic called for the return of peace to the South. With the presence of the Kountiyou in Koulaye, everyone should be reassured that peace will return, and it is here," said the spokesperson for the Khadre general caliph. He added that the Kounta bear a significant responsibility in the return of peace to Casamance.
Speaking about Islam and the mosque whose foundation stone has been laid for its renovation, he stated that
"God has left nothing in the Quran. This statement should not be taken lightly. In Islam, no one takes out or pays off a loan."
Addressing the country's economic situation, Cheikhal Khalifa Ababacar Kounta acknowledges difficulties but refuses to speak of a crisis: "Those with ill intentions often speak of a crisis; there is no crisis. Only hearts are in crisis. It is the will that is lacking, supported by untruthful words, the words of politicians. And we, we are religious; only the truth is our responsibility. This is what God has commanded us."
