The complainants, most of whose husbands have emigrated to Europe, describe disturbing behavior. As reported by the newspaper of the Groupe Futurs Médias, K. Fall, the defendant's sister-in-law, accuses him of touching her buttocks and repeated indecent exposure. M. Bâ, another resident of the house, claims she was forcibly touched and even the victim of an attempted strangulation. Finally, F. Dieng recounted a scene that shocked those present: the defendant allegedly waited for her naked in the shower, the door ajar, knowing she was going in.
While the defendant cried conspiracy, he was overwhelmed by the testimony of his own grandmother. The woman who raised him bitterly confided that her grandson, despite having learned the Quran, had succumbed to alcohol and marijuana. She herself encouraged the three women to file a complaint to protect the property, demanding his permanent eviction.
“Why not go to work instead of staying home doing drugs and harassing married women?” the judge asked the agitated defendant, who continued to deny the charges. The prosecutor requested a one-year prison sentence, according to the same source, which concluded that the case was under deliberation.
