Octobre rose : El Malick Ndiaye exprime son soutien aux femmes atteintes du cancer du sein
In this month of Pink October dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, the President of the National Assembly, El Malick Ndiaye, expressed his support for women suffering from breast cancer.
"I send my most supportive thoughts to all those women who are leading the fight against breast cancer with courage and dignity, and I pay a moving tribute to all those who have lost their lives," he wrote on the social network X.
He also urged women to get tested because, he said, prevention and early diagnosis can save lives.
He also praised the "remarkable work" of the Senegalese League Against Cancer (LISCA) as well as all the individuals, associations, health professionals, and organizations working for research, awareness, and support for patients. "Their commitment is a source of hope and life," he said.
El Malick Ndiaye reaffirmed the National Assembly's commitment to patients, their families and all initiatives aimed at strengthening prevention and improving care.
“Together, let’s push back breast cancer,” he concludes.
