Prof d'EPS arrêté : de nouvelles révélations sur le réseau des « bulletins daur »
B. Koita, 31, a physical education teacher at the Cheikhoul Khadim private school, was arrested following a report from the French Embassy. In its Tuesday, February 24th edition, Libération reveals details of this case, which came to light after a false report card was created for a student named M. Diouf, who was applying for a visa to France. According to the same source, what initially appeared to be an isolated case of fraud ultimately uncovered a vast forgery network.
A well-established system of "daur bulletins"
The investigation conducted by the Grand-Yoff police station quickly revealed that B. Koita was merely the tip of the iceberg of a highly organized system. The police first discovered that the teacher was operating under a complete false pretense, possessing no teaching qualifications himself.
Since at least 2024, Koita ran a network specializing in the manufacture and sale of fake diplomas and school reports, which he ironically nicknamed "daur report cards" in his WhatsApp exchanges, the daily newspaper points out.
Complicity within the educational community
The newspaper adds that the investigations also made it possible to identify his alleged accomplices: A. Diédhiou (54 years old), supervisor at the private school "Intégrale", and BO Cissé (57 years old), teacher at the Parcelles Assainies high school.
The trio were brought before the Dakar prosecutor's office on Monday for criminal association, impersonation of a public official, forgery and use of forged documents, as well as complicity, concludes Libération.
