Rebeuss : un détenu soutire plus de 8 millions F CFA à un homme d'affaires australien
An Australian businessman, MC Wares, filed a complaint on October 20 with the National Division for Combating Migrant Smuggling and Related Practices (DNLT). The proceedings target AS Ojiakor, a West African national already in pre-trial detention at Rebeuss Prison for online fraud and accused of a series of offenses, including criminal conspiracy, fraud, forgery, use of forged documents, and impersonation and false identity.
The complainant accuses Ojiakor of having defrauded him of a total sum of more than 8 million CFA francs.
According to L'Observateur sources, the accused presented himself to the victim as a lawyer registered with the Senegalese bar. He promised to lead criminal proceedings, which turned out to be fictitious, aimed at obtaining the release of his partner, J. Heine, as well as a visa for Australia for her.
To convince his victim, according to the sources of the daily newspaper of the Future Media Group, Ojiakor allegedly devised a scheme using fake Facebook accounts and emails. After receiving an advance, he persuaded Mr. Wares that his partner had been released and invited him to travel to Senegal to meet her and leave with her. Welcomed at the AIBD and housed in a hotel in Almadies, the businessman was asked to pay the remaining fees as a condition of the meeting. Once the 8 million CFA francs were received, Ojiakor disappeared, abandoning his victim.
Taken from his cell for questioning, Ojiakor denied the charges, despite technical evidence from his phone and footage from the hotel's surveillance cameras showing him with the victim. At the end of his questioning and after appearing before the public prosecutor, he was returned to his cell, the same source concluded.

Le titre de Seneweb c'est vrai rend l'histoire plus confuse. Le nigérian a d'abord escroqué l'australien et plus tard il a ete arrêté et mis en prison pour un autre motif qui n'a rien à voir. C'est pourquoi on l'a extrait de prison. Seneweb ne devait pas faire allusion a sa situation de détenu.
Le reste est clair, oû je l'espére une fois que vous aurez compris cette mise au point .
OJIAKOR kagne naak soko degeu nga khamneh IGBO leu.. ce sont les plus dangeureux au Nigeria et aussi ils sont les grands criminnels aux USA. alors moi quand je vois maintenant les senegalais qui les immitent dans leurs habillements je rigole.. legui les hommes senegalais sol Sabador tek si chapeau, alors que ce sont les Igbos qui le font car ils sont des Chretiens..
