Retrait des épaves de véhicules: Thiès se prépare à une opération inédite
As part of the policy of reorganization and liberation of public space, the Prefect of the department of Thiès, Mame Less Cabou, informs the entire population that systematic removal operations of vehicle wrecks will be carried out in the coming days, starting Friday, October 31, 2025, throughout the entire perimeter of the city.
This measure, notes the prefectural authority, aims to: "ensure the free movement of people and goods; improve the living environment of the population; strengthen public safety and health."
Consequently, all owners of abandoned or illegally parked vehicles are asked to voluntarily remove these vehicles before the start date of the operation.
The Prefect of Thiès is counting on everyone's high sense of civic-mindedness and responsibility for the success of this public interest operation.
