Richard-Toll : Un présumé homosexuel déféré pour viol répété sur un mineur de 9 ans
On February 28, 2026, the Richard-Toll urban police station arrested a 21-year-old man caught in the act of raping and committing unnatural acts on a 9-year-old child.
The alert was raised by eyewitnesses who were near a cybercafé adjacent to the irrigation canal of the Senegalese Sugar Company (CSS).
Intrigued by cries for help coming from the other side of the wall bordering the canal, they climbed the wall and discovered two individuals in a position that left no doubt as to the nature of the act committed. When questioned, the young boy recounted the events precisely.
At around 3:40 p.m., while walking in town with the accused, the latter allegedly led him toward the canal under the pretext of meeting a friend. Once out of sight, the assailant forced the child to submit to penetration. Shocked and suffering from severe pain, the victim's cries alerted the neighbors.
During his hearing, the child revealed that this was not his first misadventure with the suspect, claiming to have been raped three times previously.
Faced with the detailed statements of the victim and the testimonies of witnesses, the accused made a full confession, according to Seneweb sources.
At the end of his custody, he was brought before the public prosecutor at the Saint-Louis High Court on Tuesday.
