RN3 : Un lycéen tué dans un atroce accident à Dahra
Malick Gueye, a 20-year-old student in his second year of high school at the Docteur Daouda Sow school in Dahra, tragically lost his life. While riding his bicycle to run errands downtown, the young cyclist was fatally struck by a truck with license plate AA 208 RE, driven by Pape Niang.
The tragedy occurred yesterday, Saturday, around 8 p.m., on National Route 3 (RN3), a short distance from the Bassirou Sidy Ndiaye Stadium. The force of the impact with the heavy truck literally tore the victim's body to pieces.
After the gendarmerie brigade completed its investigation, the student's body was transported by firefighters to the morgue at the Élisabeth Diouf Health Center in Dahra. The truck driver was arrested for manslaughter.
