Rufisque : 2 présumés homosexuels surpris en pleins ébats sexuels par la police
The Rufisque central police station's urban security unit has detained two suspected homosexuals for sodomy and vagrancy, according to Seneweb sources. They are F. Gaye, 22, and H. Boiro, 23, both homeless.
The alert was given by a security guard
During the night of January 19-20, 2026, around 3:30 a.m., C. Gadiaga, a security guard in charge of monitoring the vehicle garage located near the Guédji hospital, alerted police officers patrolling the area.
According to his statement, two young men were having sex on a mat spread between two vehicles parked in the garage. Officers from the Rufisque urban security unit's investigation unit immediately went to the scene where the two suspects were caught with their pants and underwear down, in the act of having sex. They tried to flee, but were quickly apprehended and taken to the Rufisque central police station.
During brief questioning, H. Boiro and F. Gaye admitted to the charges against them. However, their accounts differ regarding who initiated the act. According to H. Boiro, it was F. Gaye who propositioned him for sex. F. Gaye, on the other hand, maintains that the proposition came from his accomplice.
When questioned about their respective home addresses and professional activities, the two accused stated that they were unemployed and homeless.
Prosecutor Cheikh Diakhoumpa, head of the Rufisque prosecutor's office, has been informed of the facts.
