Saint-Louis : Huit présumés homosexuels, dont cinq porteurs du VIH, en route vers la prison
The Saint-Louis Research Section concluded its investigation yesterday, Friday, after the dismantling of a network of suspected homosexuals in the same city.
Eight suspects, including five HIV-positive individuals, were brought before a judge on the same day for criminal conspiracy, unnatural acts and voluntary transmission of HIV, according to Seneweb sources.
A judicial investigation will likely be opened, after which those involved will be placed in detention.
The case began with the arrest of three initial suspects, identified by the initials A. Fall, O. Mbaye and M. Dièye.
The investigation continued and led, the following Wednesday, to the arrest of five more suspects: N. Seck, a 31-year-old married butcher; S. Sène, a 29-year-old single tailor; V. Niang, a 37-year-old married man; D. Seck, a 37-year-old married mason; and M. Diop, a 33-year-old single laborer. All reside in different neighborhoods of Saint-Louis.
