Saly : La municipalité dément tout projet d’incendies criminels et fustige une tentative de désinformation

It therefore firmly rejects any involvement of its employees or elected officials in plans for violence or destruction of property.

The statement further specifies that all the buildings and infrastructure of the seaside resort were built using the municipality's own funds, thanks to the collective efforts of the community and rigorous management, making any idea of destroying its own assets completely illogical.

L'accent doit être mise sur les conditions d'accueil des touristes. La sécurité doit être renforcée avec une brigade mobile, les trottoirs doivent être libérés ( la SAPCO devrait organiser des déguisements. Saly est devenue un no-man's-land où chacun s'installe où il veut. La construction d'un parking est nécessaire parkings sur le site où vous organisez vos foires. ( On n'a pas besoin de foire à Saly) Oui à Mbour mais pas à Saly. La route principale qui traverse Saly doit être refaite ( pas boucher les nids-de-poule avec du béton). L'éclairage public est défaillant, l'insalubrité et le harcèlement des mendiants dans la station, trop de désordre. Des enfants mendiants que l'on rencontre dans les rues à 2h du matin. Le Sénégal ne peut pas être attractif. Le directeur de la SAPCO doit aller visiter d'autres pays pour s'inspirer de leurs expériences. Il y a aucune infrastructure publique qui ont un confort ou un bien-être à Saly actuellement.
Le maire est un politicien. Il ne s'occupe que populations autochtones ( clientèle politique) mais la SAPCO doit être plus visible dans l'attractivité, la construction d'infrastructures touristiques publiques , leur gestion et l'entretien.
