Saraya : une patrouille nocturne de la gendarmerie aboutit à plusieurs saisies et interpellations
On the night of September 8 to 9, 2025, between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m., the Saraya Gendarmerie Research Brigade carried out a large-scale security operation in the Koliya and Kharakhéna sectors.
In total, 54 people were identified, 17 motorcycles were checked, and no vehicles were recorded during this patrol. This operation, part of the fight against insecurity and illicit trafficking, uncovered several offenses.
The police seized 12 cones of Indian hemp, eight ketamine 250 tablets, and four slot machines. Various equipment was also recovered, including a generator and two batteries.
Two individuals, identified by the initials SM and BO, were arrested for possession and use of Indian hemp. They were taken into custody and will be subject to a thorough investigation to determine the extent of their activities.
The Saraya gendarmerie reaffirms its commitment to ensuring the safety of local residents. Authorities also call on citizens to cooperate more closely with law enforcement by reporting any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.
