The tragic end of the headmaster of the Sébi Ponty primary school. Mr. Diallo was found dead in his room last Friday. His body was in an advanced state of decomposition. "Neither his relatives nor his neighbors had noticed his prolonged absence," reports L'Observateur, which broke the story.
Alerted, the gendarmerie deployed to the scene of the tragedy to carry out the usual investigations. "Mr. Diallo, originally from Fouta, was approaching sixty. He was deeply attached to Sébi Ponty where he had first worked as a teacher before returning a few years later as a school principal," the newspaper reports.
The same source indicates that the deceased was buried in the Ponty cemetery and that an investigation has been opened to determine the causes of his disappearance.
