Sedhiou - Un réseau de voleurs de bétail démantelé
Last July, a well-known butcher in Sedhiou handed over three stolen oxen to a driver named O. Balde, from the village of Diaroume, the main town of the commune in the Bounkiling department. Upon reaching the Ndiaye crossroads, the driver was apprehended by officers from the Sedhiou gendarmerie brigade. After a chase, O. Diallo abandoned the vehicle and fled. Inside the van, the officers found the three oxen. They have been in custody ever since.
Three months later, the men in blue put an end to the driver's flight, which facilitated the arrest of the thief, a butcher by trade at the central market of Sedhiou.
They will be brought before a judge as soon as the investigation is completed.
