Situation hydrologique du fleuve Sénégal : À Podor, le niveau de la côte d’alerte est à 5 mètres
This Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 8 a.m., the level of the Senegal River measured at the Podor gauge (Quai El Hadji Boubou Sall) was 4.40 meters, recording a slight decrease of 6 centimeters compared to the previous day (4.46 meters). Compared to the same date in 2024, when the level was 4.23 meters, the water level remains higher this year, but is still below the alert level set at 5 meters for this area.
As the rainy season continues, authorities and local populations are urged to maintain increased vigilance against flood risks.
