Affaire Sonko – Adji Sarr : «Capitaine Touré» annonce une plainte contre Mollah Morgun
Seydina Oumar Touré, the Director General of the Agency for Community Safety Assistance (ASP) and former Gendarmerie captain, does not intend to let the matter rest. He plans to sue Mamadou Niass, also known as Mollah Morgun, who recently made remarks against him in the "Sweet Beauty" affair.
"I learned this morning with great regret of the recent statements that seriously damage my honor, made by Mr. Mamadou NIASS, known as Mollah Morgun, a Senegalese national residing in Canada. Through my lawyer, Mr. Moussa SARR, I have decided to file a complaint with the Prosecutor of the High Court of Dakar on Monday for defamation and public insult," he announced.
Mollah Morgun reported a certain involvement of Mr. Touré in the Sonko-Adji Sarr case. According to him, the former Gendarmerie captain even called Ousmane Sonko at the time to ask him to remove his post in which he stated he had never been to the "Sweet Beauty" salon. The former gendarme allegedly forwarded photos to the Pastef leader, photos that the then-prosecutor had sent him.
