Soutien au magistrat Mame Mandiaye Niang : Pape Djibril Fall dénonce les sanctions américaines et pointe la responsabilité d’Ousmane Sonko
MP Pape Djibril Fall expressed his support for International Criminal Court (ICC) Deputy Prosecutor Mame Mandiaye Niang, following the sanctions imposed by the Trump administration. These sanctions target four senior ICC officials, including Mr. Niang, for their involvement in investigations into alleged war crimes committed by American and Israeli nationals.
In a statement, Pape Djibril Fall strongly condemned these measures, calling them a "hegemonic act" by the United States. He stressed the importance of supporting international judicial institutions and their representatives in the face of such pressure.
However, the parliamentarian did not fail to criticize Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, accusing him of adopting an attitude similar to that of the American administration, with regard to the treatment of national magistrates.
''He tweeted a few hours ago to denounce, and I quote, 'confronting these unjust and unfounded measures by the United States in the name of the fundamental and sacred principles of justice'. He must have forgotten, as he often does, that he himself attacks and offends the magistrates of the Republic of Senegal every time the court decisions are not favorable to him,'' declared Pape Djibril Fall.
Faced with this sanction, he called on President Bassirou Diomaye Faye to take measures to protect Mame Mandiaye Niang against these sanctions which he considers unjust.
It should be noted that the measures imposed by Washington include freezing assets in the United States, canceling visas, and blocking bank cards linked to the Visa, Mastercard, and American Express networks. Any institution carrying out transactions in dollars or with the United States is ordered to stop providing services to the Senegalese magistrate or face sanctions.
The move comes amid heightened tensions between the United States and the ICC following sanctions imposed by the Trump administration on several of its senior officials.

Surtout sur le comportement de Sonko envers nos magistrats.
Mais malheureusement, il sera abreuvé d'injures par les Pastefiens qui n'ont pas d'arguments que l'injure a la bouche comme leur gourou.

Je suis de pastef mais Ousmane sonko doit se calmer et s entouré de bons conseillers. Le Sénégal n est pas le parti pastef on a la responsabilité de 18 millions de sénégalais. Les états unis ce n est pas là France . Je me demande des fois si j ai fait le bon choix en votant pour pastef. Wakh wakhet, reniements, promeqses non tenues ect.. vraiment c est trop
