Sûreté urbaine de Dakar : Deux hommes tombent pour homosexualité après un retrait frauduleux de 2 millions
The Urban Security (SU) unit of the central police station in Dakar arrested two men for alleged acts against nature, following an initial complaint of theft with fraudulent withdrawal of funds.
According to exclusive information from Seneweb, it all started with a complaint filed by PA Diop, 33 years old, a trader by profession, who accused N. Sène, 32 years old, a driver residing in Ouakam, of having snatched his mobile phone before making a fraudulent withdrawal of 2,250,000 FCFA from his Wave account.
Investigations carried out by investigators from the Dakar SU led to the arrest of N. Sène this Monday at the Brioche Dorée des Maristes.
When questioned about the events, he denied all the accusations and stated that he had confiscated the phone in question, claiming that PA Diop owed him two million CFA francs. He maintained that, at Diop's request, he had had sexual relations with him in exchange for the aforementioned sum, which Mr. Diop had promised but which had not been paid. He added that this was their second sexual encounter.
When questioned about these new elements, PA Diop initially denied them all. However, to substantiate his claims, N. Sène provided a detailed description of PA Diop's room, where the alleged incident took place. Accompanied by them, investigators went to the location and confirmed that the room's layout perfectly matched N. Sène's description.
During this raid, the police discovered and seized a bottle of lubricant gel, a box containing lubricant oil and three condoms, which were sealed for the purposes of the investigation.
Continuing his deposition, N. Sène admitted to having emptied PA Diop's Wave account with the help of a certain I. Ndao, in order to get paid the sum he believed was owed to him.
When questioned again, PA Diop partially admitted to the acts of unnatural acts, while maintaining his version of the theft and fraudulent withdrawal.
N. Sène is being prosecuted for mobile phone theft, unauthorized access to a computer system, and obtaining property electronically, while the two other individuals involved are being prosecuted for acts against nature. They have been taken into custody pending further proceedings.
