Taptap Send organise une "Semaine d'Impact" à Dakar : l'entreprise soutient les communautés sénégalaises

The money transfer app is increasing its charitable activities and announcing new fee reductions for the diaspora.

Taptap Send, the international money transfer platform, has just concluded an "Impact Week" in Dakar, an initiative aimed at strengthening its ties with the Senegalese people it serves on a daily basis.

For an entire week, the company conducted numerous outreach activities in the Senegalese capital, reaching different segments of the population through partnerships with local organizations. This initiative reflects Taptap Send's ongoing commitment to supporting Senegal beyond just financial services.

A STRONG COMMUNITY COMMITMENT

Impact Week brought together several iconic figures from the Senegalese cultural and sporting scene to maximize its reach and create authentic moments of connection with communities.

Wrestler Balla Gaye 2 participated in all of the week's activities, while other prominent figures such as Sankara Mbaye, Fadame 2, Buur Gueweul, Modou Anta, Dave, and Dr. Jules joined the initiative at various key moments. Their presence helped strengthen community trust and raise awareness about the actions undertaken.

Each day of this special week was dedicated to a specific group within Dakar, allowing Taptap Send to reach a wide diversity of the population and respond to concrete local needs.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE SENEGALESE DIASPORA

Alongside this charitable action, Taptap Send is taking the opportunity to announce several major developments to its services, all geared towards greater accessibility and reduced costs for users:

**Zero extended shipping fees**

The cost of sending money from France, initially set at €2 and then reduced to €1, has now been waived for the coming months. This measure joins those already in place in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Brazil, where transfers are free of charge.

**Reduced fees in Europe**

Users in Italy and Spain now benefit from reduced fees, from 2 euros to 1 euro per transaction.

**Launch of the Brazil-Senegal corridor**

Taptap Send is now operational in Brazil, allowing users to send money directly from Brazil to Senegal, facilitating transfers for a new diaspora community.

**Integrated bill payment**

A new feature now allows users to pay bills directly from the app, including electricity (Woyofal), thus offering more comprehensive support to Senegalese families. This option transforms Taptap Send into a truly holistic financial solution.

A TRUSTED PARTNER FOR SENEGAL

"Impact Week embodies our mission: to make sending money more affordable while remaining deeply connected to the communities we serve," the company explained in a statement.

By combining financial innovation with concrete social commitment, Taptap Send is positioning itself as a trusted partner for the Senegalese diaspora and their families back home. This initiative demonstrates that the company is not simply facilitating money transfers, but is actively investing in the socio-economic development of Senegal.

The actions carried out during this impact week, coupled with the new fee reductions, mark an important step in Taptap Send's strategy to sustainably support the Senegalese people, both economically and socially.

Merci à cette App. Quand même, c'est désolant de voir la pauvreté utilisée via la distribution de nourriture pour faire de la pub' ou de la promotion.
