Les patriotes de Thiès-Ouest retroussent leurs manches pour des écoles propres
With one week to go before classes resume, Pastef leaders, activists, and supporters in the Thiès-Ouest commune, supported by parents, conducted a massive cleanup operation in all schools. This civic initiative was welcomed by the Minister of Culture, Amadou Bâ.
Schools cleared of weeds, classrooms and toilets cleaned: the stage is now ready to welcome students. Through a massive mobilization, leaders, activists, and supporters of the five Pastef cells of Mbour-1, in the commune of Thiès-Ouest, supported by the Parents' Association and other local entities, cleaned all the schools in the western zone for a week.
Culture Minister Amadou Bâ, who chaired one of the last set-setal operations, recalled that this approach "has become a tradition for Pastef." "On the eve of each school year, we carry out major weeding and cleaning operations to prepare for the reception of students and teaching staff," he explained. According to him, this tradition is part of a series of patriotic activities that the party conducts during the holidays: agricultural holidays, blood donations, vacation courses, and human investments.
The minister believes that "this is the normal activity of political parties, which is often ignored." He emphasizes that "the Constitution also entrusts them with the mission of training in citizenship," and that "there is no better way to do this than to invest in schools, the places par excellence for training citizens." He also calls for healthy civic competition between parties for the benefit of the population.
For Amadou Bâ, "politics cannot be reduced to insults and petty squabbles." Political parties, he says, must mobilize on the ground, in schools, on the streets, or in response to floods, "because not everything can be left to the state." In many other countries, he points out, "volunteering is an essential lever for community development."
MP Amadou Mbaye Dia also welcomed this initiative, saying that "patriots have clearly understood the message of the President of the Republic," who has launched several measures to facilitate the opening of classes. He urged his colleagues to continue civic action, in line with the government's vision. Finally, the parliamentarian emphasized the need to rehabilitate dilapidated schools and provide students with better learning conditions to promote concentration and success.

Quel contre-feu? Tu ne sais pas que c'est là où Pastef est à des années-lumière des autres partis politiques? Y en a a pas un capable de lui faire la concurrence dans ce domaine
