A 26-year-old mechanics student has been brought before the Thiès High Court in a blackmail case involving intimate videos. EMDIONGUE is being prosecuted for collecting and disseminating pornographic data, blackmail, and fraudulent access to financial services.

The facts reported by the student

According to statements by El. M. DIONGUE, who lives in the workers' housing project, the incident took place at his home. He claims to have filmed P. DIAWARA and another unidentified male individual in an intimate situation from his living room.

The student claims to have ordered the two people to leave the premises, which allegedly led to an altercation before the individuals left.

Organized blackmail revealed by the investigation

However, the police investigations revealed a completely different reality. It turned out that EMDIONGUE, who knew P. DIAWARA, contacted the latter's relatives to ask for money in exchange for not releasing the intimate videos he possessed.

The investigation also established that the student did not hesitate to share these videos with other people, thus aggravating the charges against him.

Financial fraud in addition to blackmail

The case took on an added dimension with the discovery of financial fraud. EMDIONGUE fraudulently accessed P. DIAWARA's Wave account and made unauthorized withdrawals.

Two homosexuals on the run

Seneweb's sources state that the two alleged homosexuals, including P. DIAWARA and the unidentified individual who appear in the videos, are currently on the run and are being actively searched for by the police.

EMDIONGUE was arrested by the Nguinth police before being brought before the Thiès High Court. He will face several charges:
