Thiès : Un jeune cireur de 20 ans porté disparu depuis 4 jours
In Thiès, a young shoeshine boy in his twenties, originally from the village of Dendoudy, in the commune of Ogo, in Matam, has been missing since January 2, 2026.
On the day he disappeared, while at the Moussanté market in Thiès with his brothers, the young man, who also worked occasionally as a bricklayer, reportedly followed an individual claiming to be looking for workers for a construction site. Since then, no further news has been received, according to a family member.
His family maintains that he suffers from no physical or mental problems. However, at the time of his disappearance, he did not have a mobile phone, which complicates the situation.
Now plunged into deep worry, distraught in the face of this situation, his family, based in Matam, is conducting searches and launching an appeal for help to obtain any information that could lead to finding their son as soon as possible.
