Touba : Serigne Mbacké Daba Sarr repose désormais à Darou Marnane
Following his passing in a Dakar hospital, Serigne Mbacké Daba Sarr now rests in Touba. The late Khalif of Darou Marnane was laid to rest late Tuesday night, in the presence of several religious leaders, including Serigne Hamza Mbacké, Serigne Kosso Mbacké, son of Serigne Mountakha, and Serigne Mame Thierno of Darou Marnane (located in Darou Mouhty).
The general caliph of the Mourides also made a phone call at the time of the burial, in the Sékhew district of Darou Marnane.
It is worth remembering that Serigne Touba performed prayers there and that a mosque was erected there.
Furthermore, PASTEF/Touba Darou Marnane, under the coordination of Pape Moussa Sène, offered its condolences to the Mouride community.
"Through my voice, the entire PASTEF/Touba Darou Marnane cell presents its sincere and saddened condolences to the family of Serigne Abdou Rahmane and Mame Thierno Birame Mbacké, to the general khalifa of the Mourides as well as to Serigne Khalil Mbacké, khalifa of Mame Thierno.
"May Allah (SWT), in his infinite mercy, welcome him into his eternal paradise and grant patience and comfort to the entire Mouride community," wrote Pape Moussa Sène.
