Dieuppeul police have arrested an Indian hemp trafficker in the Liberté 1 district, dealing a significant blow to drug networks operating in the area.
Arrest following information
Based on information provided by a reliable source in the sector, reporting the existence of an intense Indian hemp trafficking network in Liberté 1, elements of the Research Brigade of the Dieuppeul district police station, headed by Commissioner Youssoupha Thioub, carried out an investigative operation.
This intervention resulted in the arrest of TH Baldé, a 51-year-old mason, found in possession of 2 kilograms of Indian hemp according to Seneweb sources.

During his interrogation, the suspect stated that he obtained his supplies from a certain "Djiby", established on Yarakh beach, without providing further details on the full identity of his supplier.

Investigations are actively continuing with a view to arresting the alleged supplier. A thorough investigation has been launched to dismantle the entire drug trafficking network operating in the Liberté 1 sector.
This arrest is part of the ongoing efforts of the police officers of the Dakar central police station
