Drame à Keur Ngalgou ( Diourbel) : Un professeur se jette dans un puits après ses cours
The local gendarmerie brigade in Ndindy, under the jurisdiction of the Diourbel gendarmerie company, was alerted on Wednesday, January 21st, to a suicide in the commune of Keur Ngalgou. At the scene, located approximately 13 km away, the gendarmes discovered the body of a teacher at the bottom of a well. The victim was identified as Mamadou AG, 42 years old, a history and geography teacher at the Keur Ngalgou middle school. He is survived by his wife and child.
Previous behavioral problems
According to his brother-in-law's testimony, the deceased suffered from behavioral problems. Mamadou AG complained of recurring headaches. He also sometimes isolated himself and expressed concerns about his health, particularly when he entrusted their child to his wife's care.
On the day of the tragedy, at the end of his classes, the teacher left the middle school and headed towards a nearby well. Witnesses indicate that he placed his bag in the well before intentionally jumping in. According to Seneweb sources, the bag was found near the scene when the investigation began.
The teacher's body was recovered by firefighters and then taken to the morgue at the Diourbel regional hospital. An investigation has been opened.

Malheureusement , nous Africains, les sympomes ne nous disent pas grand- chose. Les sapeurs, les gendarmes se dirigent tous, apres l,alerte vers le puits ou' tombe' ce vaillant Professeur d,Histo-Geo qui devrait etre interne' dans un centre psciatrique , dans un pays normal , avant que l,irreparable ne soit produit. Et c,est triste,c,est dommage. Toujours le Medecin apres la Mort

Des visites annuelles incluant la santé mentale doivent être systématisées dans toutes les administrations
le suicide est devenu un problème de santé publique en Afrique
Les revendications ne doivent pas seulement concerner les primes et avantages!!!!!!
