Transport international : Un Sénégalais prend les rênes d’une multinationale Emirati
Aramex has chosen a Senegalese national, Amadou Diallo, to write the next chapter of its history. The company, a global leader in logistics, officially announced his appointment as Group CEO, effective May 1, 2026 , a decision approved by its Board of Directors.
In its press release, Aramex highlights "more than 30 years of international experience in the logistics sector" and a career marked by "building high-performing teams and leading major transformations in the areas of freight, express delivery, and supply chain management." This career path has spanned several continents, where the individual has held leading positions from the Middle East to Europe, including Asia-Pacific and Africa.
Prior to this new role, Amadou Diallo led DHL Global Forwarding for the Middle East and Africa. Over the years, he has held the roles of CEO, CFO, and COO in business units spanning several regions worldwide. Aramex commends his leadership based on "collaboration, performance, and innovation."
Captain Mohamed Juma Alshamsi, Chairman of the Board, expressed the group's confidence in its new leader: "We are very pleased to welcome Amadou Diallo to Aramex as our new Chief Executive Officer. His international experience, operational expertise, and people-oriented management style make him the ideal person to lead our next phase of development."
